Responsibilities:

Interns will be involved in a variety of tasks depending on the department. Key responsibilities include:

  • Electrical Engineering Interns: Assist with electrical installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical systems.
  • Environmental Health Interns: Support environmental health assessments, risk management, and compliance with health regulations.
  • Geology Interns: Participate in geological surveys, data collection, and analysis to support exploration activities.
  • Human Resource Development Interns: Assist with training administration, employee development programs, and performance management.
  • Mechanical Engineering Interns: Assist in the design, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems.
  • Supply Chain Interns: Support procurement, logistics, and inventory management operations.

All interns will receive structured training and practical exposure to the operations within their respective fields.

Qualifications:

To apply for the internship programme, candidates must meet the following educational requirements:

  • Intern Electrical Engineering: N6/S4/National Diploma or BSc Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
  • Intern Enterprise Supplier Development: National Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, or BTech in Business Management, Supply Chain, or related fields.
  • Intern Environmental Health: National Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Health.
  • Intern Geology: National Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or BTech in Geology.
  • Intern Industrial Engineering: National Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or BTech in Industrial Engineering.
  • Intern Learning (Human Resource Development): Degree or Diploma in HRD, Training & Development, or related field.
  • Intern Mechanical Engineering: N6/S4/National Diploma or BSc in Mechanical/Electronic Engineering.
  • Intern Mining Engineering: National Diploma, BTech, or BSc in Mining Engineering.
  • Intern Social Worker: Master’s in Clinical or Counselling Psychology or a four-year Bachelor of Social Work Degree.
  • Intern Supply Chain: Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Logistics Management.

Experience:

  • Required: Internships are intended for unemployed graduates or those in need of P1/P2 work experience as part of their studies. No prior work experience is required, but an academic record showing a need for practical work experience is essential.
  • Advantageous: Academic transcripts or a letter from the institution confirming the need for work experience (P1/P2).

Skills and Competencies:

  • Technical skills relevant to the specific internship field (e.g., engineering, geology, HR).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
