Job Overview: NWK is offering learnership opportunities for 2024 aimed at providing young individuals with hands-on experience in the agricultural sector. Position Purpose: The NWK Learnership Program aims to develop the skills and competencies of young professionals by providing them with practical experience in the agricultural industry. Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily operational tasks in assigned departments, including agronomy, production, and logistics.

  • Contribute to administrative tasks such as data entry, documentation, and report preparation.
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to gain industry knowledge and technical skills.

Education:

  • Recently completed or currently completing a Grade 12 (Matric) certificate, or equivalent.
  • Additional qualifications or coursework in Agriculture, Business Administration, or related fields are advantageous but not required.

Experience:

  • No prior professional experience is required; however, any relevant internships, part-time work, or volunteer experience in agriculture or business will be considered beneficial.
Skills:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of agricultural processes and practices is beneficial.
  • Willingness to learn and a proactive approach to tasks and responsibilities.
