Position Purpose
The purpose of the Western Cape Government Internship Programme is to:

Duties and Responsibilities
Interns will be placed in relevant government departments, and their responsibilities may include:
- Assisting in administrative and project management tasks.

- Assisting in specialized areas such as finance, IT, human resources, or community services, depending on your area of study.
Education Requirements
- A Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.
- A relevant National Diploma or Degree in fields such as:

Experience Requirements
- No prior work experience is required; this is an entry-level programme.
- Applicants must not have participated in an internship programme in the public sector previously.
Skills Requirements

- Basic computer literacy (MS Office or equivalent).
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
